Nathan's Dad scooped it out with a net and sent it on its way. But maybe we shouldn't have unleashed this beast back into the world...

Jasmine, I hate to tell you my best guess. It is a female waterbug, which is different from a water beetle. It is also known as a German Cockroach, common in the USA. That orange thing at the rear is an egg sack. I hope you dumped it far from the house, but if you see another one, call ghostbusters, or someone to ID it up close. Please don't hate me, but I think I'm right.
ReplyDeleteI agree with JJ..lol...I once had four or five of them fall on my head from a mopwhen I lived in the baracks....I am sure there is nothing funnier than watch a naked idiot screaming and flopping around because big ass cockroaches have fallen on her head. Looks like that bug was hot and needed a swim.
